The number of women and babies who die during pregnancy and childbirth is a global health emergency.
Over ninety-eight percent of these deaths occurred in developing countries. The vast majority could have been prevented with sufficient access to even the most basic medical care. The Mata Jai Kaur Maternal and Child Health Centre (MJK-MCHC), a program of the Prominent Homes Charitable Organization (PHCO), provides quality, accessible healthcare to vulnerable women and children in rural Rajasthan, a state in northern India.
100% of donations go towards program delivery. PHCO covers all facilities and administrative expenses.
